Bank notes are printed by the Bank of England, and come in denominations of: £50, £20, £10, £5.

British Coins are made by the Royal Mint, and come in denominations of: £2, £1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p & 1p. There is also a Crown Coin with a face value of £5 (previous generations were 25p), which is issued as more of a commemorative collectors coin, rather than as actual spending money.
